Sophia is a Sydney-based photographer originally from Aotearoa, known for her instinctive, atmospheric work that draws on movement, intimacy, and stillness.
Now living in Bondi, Sophia’s creative world is shaped by long walks, good books, strong coffee, and a close-knit community of artists and friends.
From scenic walks to local cafés, she reveals the rituals and places that fuel her creativity and make Sydney feel like home.

THE EDIT
Eat & drink
The Beaver in Bondi, it is a local in its truest form - a community. Don’t sleep on the cheeseburger (add pickles).
P&V, My Flower Man, Chinese Noodle Restaurant, Bar Copains, and Caravin are also very beloved.
Walk or move
Coreplus is my favourite studio and Centennial Park is always lovely for a walk if you don’t want the busy crowds of Bondi to Bronte.
Hidden gem
My Flower Man becomes a wine bar on Fridays and Saturdays. Cairo Takeaways, City Oltra.

Reading
I just finished The Song of Achilles, read in a heartbeat, it was wonderful.
Wearing
I’m such a Depop girl, but I do love Paloma Wool, Bassike and St Agni at the moment.
Listening
‘Out of my head’ by Fastball came on when I was at the supermarket the other day, and it's been on repeat.
Liking
I always love Italy Segrata and @c__l__o
