Meet our muse, Mel Vranjes — a Certified Holistic Sex & Relationship Coach and Somatic Therapist whose work invites women back to their bodies, their aliveness
Mel’s approach is practical, embodied, and made for real life — for mothers, for women stretched thin, for anyone feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or touched out. Through nervous system tools, pleasure practices, and grounded communication skills, she helps women feel confident, connected, turned on, and deeply at home in themselves again.

Mel explains that sex and motherhood are inseparable — “Sex and motherhood are completely intertwined in my work because they’re completely intertwined in a woman’s life. Motherhood changes everything… so of course it changes your sexuality too.” She sees that most mothers aren’t struggling with desire itself, but with exhaustion, overwhelm, and capacity, all while being expected to stay endlessly available.

Mel reflects on how society teaches women to hide their sexuality — “to be desirable, but not too much,” shaping generations who tense up the moment they try to express themselves.
She explains that when sexuality is treated as a performance rather than an inner experience, women disconnect from their bodies, apologise for desire, and carry shame that seeps into every part of life. In her work, she sees a clear truth: women aren’t broken or uninterested in sex — “they’re living in a system that has never centred their pleasure, their voice, or their body,” leaving them in a constant push-pull between who they are and who they were taught to be.
